Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?
The United Kingdom European Union membership referendum, also known as the EU referendum, is scheduled to take place in the United Kingdom on the 23rd of June 2016, this will decide whether Britain should leave or remain in the European Union.
This means that there will be a vote in which everyone of voting age can take part. Whichever side gets more than half of all votes cast is considered to have won.
